One home closed, one library placed
Every purchase and every sale LRI represents funds a new Legacy Library in a community that needs one. Twenty percent of the firm's net profit goes to the same foundation every quarter. Its board is chaired by LRI's founder, which is disclosed below rather than left for you to find.
One for one, and a fifth of the profit
Every home LRI helps a client buy or sell places one new Legacy Library. Not a donation toward libraries, and not a share of one. One closing, one library, in a community that does not have the room it needs to read in.
Separately, twenty percent of LRI’s net profit is paid to The Legacy Foundation every quarter, unrestricted, so the Foundation can put it wherever it is most useful across its seven programs.
The profit share is what it sounds like. In a quarter with no net profit it yields nothing, and this page will record that quarter as nothing rather than skip it. A young firm has those quarters, and a giving record that shows only the good ones is not a record.
Both start now. The count of libraries placed and the amount of each quarterly payment will be published on this page as they happen, and neither number is invented in advance.
A Legacy Library
The Legacy Foundation has been placing libraries since 2006: mobile and neighborhood collections put where the books are not. It is the program LRI ties its own work to, because a brokerage deals in rooms and this is a room.
A closing is a family arriving somewhere. The library is what arrives with them, in a community that is usually not the same one.
Both sides of this are the same person
Anthony Clemenza founded Luxury Realty International and is its Broker of Record. He also founded The Legacy Foundation and chairs its board. The money therefore moves between two organizations he leads.
That is why the commitment can be as large as it is and as fixed as it is. It is also exactly the kind of fact that would undermine the rest of this page if you found it somewhere else first, so it is here instead.
The Legacy Foundation
A 501(c)(3) public charity founded in 2006, running seven programs across youth development, literacy, the arts, nature education, life skills, and family cardiovascular health. LRI’s gift is unrestricted, so the Foundation decides where it is most useful rather than the firm deciding for it.
